The Olympiad has started!

Participants came to the federal territory “Sirius” to try their hand at the OWAO 2023. Overall, representatives of the 14 countries will take part in the Olympiad, some of them online.

The children were greeted by the representatives of the federal territory and the Sirius Educational Center at the opening ceremony. A welcoming speech was also recorded for the participants by the Russian cosmonauts.

There was a meeting with the test cosmonaut Denis Matveev after the official part. The speaker told the schoolchildren about psychological tests astronauts have to undergo and what inspired him to choose such a profession.
